I have had Mid back pain close to my sides(most the time left) for years now(5-10?). After i have been on my feet for half hour or so.What can i do to help this? So fare i have got by using over the counter pain meds(advil ect) and a lower back brace when ever i had to be on my feet for long times. Going to a doctor isn’t a option as i have no insurance or money for that matter. Thank you for the help.

If you’re having back pains you’ll want to be careful about exercising that area because it could make it worse. Are you overweight; carrying extra weight can stress your back. Most important, try to do maintain correct posture at all times, wear comfortable shoes (avoid boots), and exercise regularly.
If you want to do some exercises make sure they’re low-stress. Try abdominal exercises since strong abs help your posture, but make sure that you do ones in which your back doesn’t have to strain too much (basically, ones that keep your back flat on the floor throughout the whole rep).
Finally, if you’re a back or front sleeper, try to sleep with a very flat pillow between your back/stomach and the bed. If you’re a side sleeper, try to sleep with a pillow in between your legs.
